Terms of Service

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Service Description

Associated Refuse Haulers provides roll-off dumpster rental services for construction, renovation, demolition, and cleanout projects. Services include container delivery, pickup, and disposal of accepted materials.

Pricing and Payment

All quotes provided by Associated Refuse Haulers are estimates based on the information provided at the time of booking. Final pricing may vary based on actual debris weight, material type, rental duration, and delivery location. Overweight charges may apply if the container exceeds the agreed weight limit. We will communicate any additional charges before they are applied.

Rental Period

Standard rental periods are agreed upon at the time of booking. Extensions are available at a daily rate. If the container is not ready for pickup by the agreed date, additional rental fees may apply. Contact us to arrange an extension before the pickup date.

Prohibited Materials

Certain materials are prohibited from our containers for safety and regulatory reasons, including hazardous waste, asbestos, tires, batteries, propane tanks, and medical waste. Loading prohibited materials may result in additional charges for special handling and disposal. See our full accepted materials list.

Container Placement and Property

The customer is responsible for designating an appropriate placement location for the container. Our drivers will place containers as directed. The customer is responsible for any damage to driveways, lawns, or other property surfaces caused by the weight of the container and its contents. We recommend placing plywood or boards under the container on paved surfaces.

Overfilling

Containers must not be loaded above the sidewall level. Overfilled containers cannot be safely transported and will not be picked up until excess material is removed. Additional fees may apply for overfilled containers.

Cancellation

Cancellations made before container delivery incur no charge. Once a container has been delivered, the standard rental fee applies regardless of whether the container is used.

Limitation of Liability

Associated Refuse Haulers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific rental in question.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Fairfield County, Connecticut.
